As you might have noticed, there’s now a “Shop” item in the menu above. It’s based on PayPal, but if you prefer some other way of handling the transaction, just send an email and we’ll work something out.
Good Sir Didrik Søderlind in Oslo was kind enough not only to author, but also to publish his dashing piece on the re-issue of Lifethesis on his blog. Other bands, such as Coph Nia and Die Weisse Rose have recently put Mr Søderlind’s services to good use, and unsurprisingly so, as he possesses a rare talent for presenting a group in a highly personal and witty way, yet steering clear of conventional company hype. Do take a look.

We had a great weekend in Berlin. Thank you, all of you who supported us during and after the show - we’ll be sure to bring some CD’s along next time for those of you who still haven’t embraced the vinyl format. I hope we’ll be back soon!
Apatheia will participate on the new Cold Meat Industry compilation, curated by Ikonen Magazine. More on that later.
I‘ve also started to work on a new album (or possibly a 10″) . This will most likely be a long-term project, but hopefully something will be ready early 2010. I imagine I’ll upload some samples here once the songs start taking shape.
And finally, a basic web-shop will be established here within the next few days, and the blue version of the new 7″ will be made available for purchase via Paypal.

Apatheia will be performing live for the first time ever on this Saturday the 24th at the Slaughterhouse in Berlin. The band will consist of myself on vocals and electronics, E. Arnehed on guitars and PA Stockenberg on percussion. Coph Nia and the Law-Rah Collective will also be performing.
A new 7″ has been released to commemorate the evening in Berlin. A numbered edition limited to 100 copies on blue vinyl will initially be released, followed by an additional 200 on black with different artwork.
The A-side features a new rendition of Rot In The Core (originally released on the Promo album), and a new song called You Will Not Survive on the flip. The latter is a droning instrumental version of the song, and it will most likely be published in a different version on a sampler early 2010.
The show in Berlin will mark the official release of the single, and after that it will be made available through this weblog as well as the myspace page. Please note that the limited edition can only be obtained from the band directly.
